Doxie Crafts, North Carolina USA
Doxie Crafts is a family owned business. We (Mark and Teresa) have been married for 10 years now and have belonged to doxies
for at least 5 of those years. Mark's first doxie was Brownie when he was a 8 and Teresa's first doxie was Happy when she was 10.
We love dachshunds and would love to own or be owned by many more dachshunds when we get closer to retirement. If it was up
to Mark, we would have lots more now but it is not possible at this point in our life.
Right now Laura, Jake and George are our "babies". Laura is very sweet, loving but not very active. Jake is our new addition. He
is a rescue that I was suppose to keep for only a couple of days but fell in love too quickly to let go. Jake is still full of fun and loves
to destroy toys and demand lots and lots of attention. George, he is also full of fun and loves to play ball and squeek his many toys.
In fact, we are constantly picking up his toys from all over the house and putting them into his toy basket. Some of you may have
met George at the Almost Home Dachshund Rescue event here in NC on May 2009. He was a bit excited and now his favorite toy is
the pig he won from the toy pool. Laura stayed at Grandmom's house that day since she is a bit shy. As most of you that own dogs
or owned by dogs understand, our dachshunds bring joy to our household.
